If your pet is poorly, injured or in distress, we understand that this will be very worrying. Rest assured, VetShack has put in place access to veterinary advice and care to support you.
VetShack partners with VidiVet and MiNightVet to guarantee that our registered clients can access a reliable out of hours emergency service.
We know that the dedicated night vets who work there are experienced, fully qualified, and have a special interest in all aspects of urgent, critical care…
… and it ensures that our team are all rested and fully available to deliver the very best in day-to-day pet care.
Emergency Care During Opening Times
During opening times, we are here on-site to help you deal with any emergencies.

Monday to Friday: 9am-5.30pm
Saturdays: 9am-12.00pm

VetShack works in partnership with VidiVet and MiNightVet.
24/7 on-line veterinary advice
VidiVet is a great place for initial help and guidance on your situation. You can send a query about your pet on the VidiVet app, and receive a personalised video response.
- Talk with a UK registered vet via video, audio or text
- Know if your pet needs to be urgently seen
- Assistance with minor issues and advice any time of the day
- Peace of mind and information about what to next
- All VidiVet vets are members of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons
Happily, most of our clients never need VidiVet. However, we do recommend that you sign up for it as soon as you can (it’s included in your pet plan) – just in case.
A local out-of-hours vet
VetShack is registered with MiNightVet (Canterbury) which specialises in providing emergency out-of-hours care to dogs, cats and small mammals.
