VetShack consultations are by appointment only. For your convenience, please make an online booking. Unlimited consultations are included if you are a VIP Member.
All of our vets and nurses are fully qualified and experienced. However, we encourage our clients to see the same vet on each visit where possible. This helps them get to know both you and your pet, and is best for building trust and continuity of care.
FAQs
We know how important your pet is to your family. That’s why all of our consultations are longer than standard at 20 minutes, which allows plenty of time to thoroughly examine your pet and explain everything to you clearly with empathy and compassion.
Once your pet has been examined by a vet, they may be referred for a consultation with one of our experienced veterinary nurses. This includes check-ups for post-operative care, weight loss, diabetic checks and blood pressure monitoring.
Our veterinary nurses are experienced, fully qualified and registered. Working alongside our vets, the whole VetShack team work for your pet’s health.
You can request your usual vet when booking, but rest assured, all of our vets are qualified and experienced and will be able to help.
VetShack will give a second opinion on your pet’s care, even if you are not registered with us. If you are concerned about your pet, please contact us to discuss your worries.
We do everything we can to ensure your visit is as stress-free as possible. Parking is close to our front door and our pet-friendly flooring is nonslip so your pet will feel comfortable whatever the season. In addition, we have a special fear free waiting pod for dogs that don’t like meeting others and separate dog and cat waiting areas and consultation rooms.
